Main and Final Task - Final Opening Sequence

Reminder: The actress was not harmed in the making of this video.

Hopefully you guys like this video.
Explaining a bit over here:

The idea behind this video was basically to kind of show what a lot of pressure can do a person but not really going to the negative side of this whole situation.
As this is an opening sequence i would say that this is like just the top of a really big iceberg which is hidden under the water.

Now to explain my video i would start with:

As in the beginning it is shown that the main character is happy and is interacting with her friend. I used these scene to show a glimpse that when a person is with their friends those are the times they tend to cherish a lot, you never knows what might happen.
And this is kind of something like that (you never know what happened).

In this my character, lets say, kind of pressurised or stressed to choose and actual course or career and since she is so stressed out instead of actually thinking about it, she instead proceeds to stop thinking about it (done by throwing the book).

The clothes colour ( black and grey) represent the sadness. As per her room is a mix of many colours, but anyone would notice that the colours which stand out are the dark colours. But the main point is actually the line of really colourful line of teddy bears perched on the bed top. One can say that they represent the character trying to hold on to the happiness she felt when she was young. Trying to keep the colours in her life. This can also be said through her bed sheet which has 4 colours,  black, grey and white and pink (Representing the slight happiness in her life).

But one can also say that its not only the stress/ pressure which is draining our character but it is also the lack of people in her life. As you can see, the well decorated house lacks the presence of anyone close to our character may it be a roommate or family or anyone. So one can also say that is an additional point to her loneliness and sad behaviour.

The doodles are her actual emotions shown. The fact that she is studying while having a thin blanket on her also shows how unwilling she is.

The scene where she is taking some kind of medicine is also a focus point because as one can see, many medicines have been spilled out. One can say she has been collecting different medicines to see what effects the most.

The scene where she looks in the mirror at her self. In that part, viewers can see the eye of protection hanging on her mirror. The eye of protection something which is meant to hang to keep all bad things away.

As one would notice as soon as she takes the medicine, the music at the back isn't as loud it was in the beginning. The same song but in a much more softer volume. This is meant to show that whatever medicine she has taken is taking an effect on her body and is effecting what ever it is supposed to effect.

If one focuses on the laptop background one can see it has a message of encouragement, a person saying (since it is in speech bubbles) about how she can survive in a situation.
The scenes where she plays the songs and lays down, further on crying. The first song on which the mouse seems to linger on is called Gloomy Sunday.

Gloomy Sunday is a Hungarian Song, famous for its potential to make its listeners to think about suicide and eventually committing it.
The lyrics are basically the protagonist wanting to commit suicide following his lovers death.

I used this in order to show the viewers that the character had been thinking about it but refrains by listening to the other song, "idontwannabeyouanymore" by Billie Eilish.

This song, from the name itself can give an idea, its like when a person does not want to live the life she is actually living, hence she wants to be someone else, she doesn't want to be herself.
One can say, finding happiness while being someone else.

Her crying can mean a lot of things. She is either tired of living this life, crying thinking about moments where she was actually happy, moments where her world wasn't covered in grey. she might also be crying thinking about consequences, what might happen to her friends, her family, etc, as i said before, no one knows (i do but like, not going to spoil it).

The last scene, where she is shown wiping her tears off is connected to the part where the title is shown. She wipes her tears, in a way says (please imagine this in your heads with a strong voice), "I can do it. I can survive this. I can move on. I can hold on."

And that's it.

Hopefully all of this makes sense.

Thank you for reading.
